Sayonara for now!

Hello everyone?  How are you doing?  

A few journals back I announced my plans to travel to Japan.  And well next week is the week.  I shall be gone for roughly 2 weeks.  When I'm gone, its total separation between work and vacation time. 

So no new works, updates, etc.  I won't even be checking my message box while I'm gone. 

I do hope that my visit to Japan would give me some new ideas for a story. Honestly there seems to be very little progress in storytelling from the RWBY fanbase.  Every time I go on to chat with my friend and colleague, , we tend to agree that this fandom is producing nothing but regurgitated ideas with little to no creativity.  Yes the trope is there.  But its just that, a trope.  Where's the clever writing?  The decent story telling?  
       
    "But there are serious materials like RWBY AU or RWBY Quest."

Yes, but does every fandom need such overly-dramatic stuff to justify the lack of materials available to the artists?  You don't need to turn to such stuff.  Just look at what is available, the tropes that the characters fit, and simply play with it!  I don't want to see the same jokes over and over again.  If anything what we need is less repetition and more normalcy.  After all, Beacon is a school.  Its students and staff are living the normal school life as best as they can in this strange world that, two season in, we still have little clue about it. So why not more nichijou storytelling?

I'll see you guys in two weeks.  So I hope to see some very good materials when I get back.
